Andrews, TX - (March 29, 2016) - "Dia!"  Children's Day/Book Day Children's Day/Book Day, also known as El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Día) will be celebrated Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 5 p.m. at the James Roberts Center.  The library invites all ages to attend.  Each child will receive a free book. Andrews, TX - (March 2, 2016)- Join us in celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday.  The fun begins Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 6:00 pm.  Enjoy activities such as a Green Egg Hunt, your choice of coloring pages, listening to storytelling of Dr. Seuss books or watching a Dr. Seuss movie.  A photo area will be available so that you can take a picture to capture all the fun you will have on Dr. Seuss' birthday.  All in attendance will receive a commerative bag with a prize.  For more information please contact Kloe James at the library 432-523-9819.  Click here for times.

In addition to having record-breaking release week sales of over three million albums, '25' is now the only record in music history to have sold over a one million LP's in it's second week of sales. Thanks to the Andrews County Historical Committee (funded by Andrews County) the digitized version of the Andrews County News is now available through this web site!  This includes the few issues of the Shafter Lake Herald that were preserved and all preserved issues of the Andrews County News from 1937-2014.  And coming soon, the digitized version of the Andrews County History!
