Book Sales

sale

The library hosts an on-going book sale that is run by the Friends of the Library. All money from this project go to support library programs—primarily the Summer Reading program’s crafts, prizes, speakers, and advertising.

Materials available for sale are donated by the community (see policy on donated materials under “Additional Policies”) or items withdrawn from the library’s collection. Prices range from $.10--$1 and are marked on the inside cover of the item. Each autumn, the Friends hold a “Buck a Bag” sale that lasts for the entire selected month.

Donations of books, audio/visual materials, and periodicals in good condition are always encouraged and donation statements for tax purposes are available at the circulation desk.
